The second Great Awakening is a Religious revival movement which caused a revival of religion in early nineteenth century. This has been led mainly by the Preachers of Baptists and Methodists congregations. By the late nineteenth century, this movement became tamed. One of the main reasons behind the Second Great Awakening is the fact that Arminian Theology explains the fact that each of the human beings can be saved by revival of religion.
